Torshavn, Faroe Island – half way to Iceland

May 2: Draken is moored in Torshavn, Faroe Islands after a rough crossing from Shetland Islands. The ship handled well in the strong winds and high waves but i was a tiresome sail for the crew. Now the Captain and the mates studies weather forecasts and look for the next weather window to sail in towards Iceland, as always good seamanship sets safety first and Draken will not ever risk to go out in tougher conditions than she has to. Hopefully she will sail on soon!
